Juventus have made an excellent start under Luciano Spalletti, with the experienced coach already bringing greater fluidity, control, and tactical intelligence to the Turin side. His possession-oriented approach has produced a strong balance between attacking quality and defensive organisation across the opening two rounds. Spalletti’s system relies heavily on numerical superiority through the middle, constant midfield rotations, and patient build-up based on short passing combinations. The Bianconeri also look to react immediately after losing the ball, using an aggressive counter-press to regain possession high up the pitch. At the Allianz Stadium, Juventus are expected to dictate the tempo early and push Milan back towards their own penalty area.

AC Milan have also enjoyed a perfect start under Rúben Amorim. The Portuguese coach has brought his well-drilled three-man defensive structure and attack-minded wing-backs to the Rossoneri, creating a side capable of switching rapidly between defensive solidity and attacking aggression. Milan’s system is built around intense movement and athleticism, with players quickly closing defensive spaces before launching dangerous transitions through direct vertical passes towards their fast attackers. Their ability to press aggressively in the opposition half, combined with excellent physical conditioning, remains one of their biggest assets. In Turin, Amorim is unlikely to simply sit deep, with Milan expected to embrace an open, high-tempo contest.

Ultimately, the decisive factor at the Allianz Stadium could be which side manages to control the rhythm of the game. Juventus will look to use Spalletti’s positional rotations, possession game, and tactical adaptability to establish territorial superiority, while Milan will rely on their structured shape, physical intensity, and rapid counter-attacking threat. Although the visitors possess enough pace to punish Juventus in transition, the Bianconeri’s home advantage and greater sophistication in possession should give them the edge in this tactical battle.
